This page explains what we collect when you ask for a price, book a visit or request a repair, what this website stores in your browser, and which other services are involved. It supports clause 18 of our Terms and Conditions.

Who we are
Blinds.mu Ltd, Royal Road, Lower Dagotière, St Pierre 80202, Mauritius. You can reach us on 5880 5880, on WhatsApp or at admin@blinds.mu. We are responsible for the personal data described on this page and process it in line with the Data Protection Act 2017 of Mauritius.
What we collect, and why
We only collect what we need to answer you and to make, install and look after your blinds. Choose a situation to see what applies.
Price request
Your name, phone number, email address, the blind and fabric you chose, measurements, and the room and needs you selected on our website. We use them to prepare your price and contact you about it.
Site visit
Your name, contact details and address, so our team can visit and measure.
Repair request
Your name, contact details, a description of the problem and any photographs you send, so we can assess and repair your blind.
Orders
Your name, address, contact details and photographs of your windows, to manufacture, install, invoice and support your order.
Calls and WhatsApp
The messages you send us, so we can reply and keep a record of what was agreed.
We never sell your data. We use it to deal with your request, and we contact you about it. We publish photographs of your installation only with your permission, and never in a way that identifies you or your address.
Where your data is kept
Requests made through this website are stored in our business system, Odoo, and are seen only by Blinds.mu staff who need them to do their work. Odoo is a business software provider that hosts the system for us. We do not publish prices, quotations or customer details on this website.

Odoo
Your price request, site visit or repair request is saved in Odoo, the business system we use to prepare prices, plan visits and manage orders. Only our staff can see it.
Nothing you type on our website is sent to Facebook. Our latest posts from Facebook appear on our site as plain cards, with their pictures kept on our own server, so Facebook receives nothing when our pages load. If you click a post, it opens in a new tab and Facebook handles that visit.
Google Maps
We send nothing to Google Maps. If you choose a link to our location or our Google reviews, you leave our website and Google handles that visit.
OpenStreetMap
Only if you press the current location button on the Book a site visit form, and then allow your browser to share your position. Your device's coordinates are then sent to OpenStreetMap's address lookup service so it can suggest a street address for the form. That service also receives your internet address, as any website does. If you type your address instead, nothing is sent to OpenStreetMap. The coordinates are saved with your site visit request in Odoo so our team can find the place.
If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, your message goes to us through WhatsApp. We see your number and what you write, and we keep it to deal with your request.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where the law allows. Write to admin@blinds.mu or call us, and we will answer. If you are not satisfied, you have the right to complain to the Data Protection Office of Mauritius.
Cookies and browser storage
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics that follow you around the web. It keeps two small things in your browser so it works smoothly.
Session choicesYour room, needs and price-request choices, so you do not choose twice.
Kept only for the current visit and removed when you close the tab. Nothing is sent to us from this storage. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Recently viewed productsShortcuts back to products you looked at.
Kept in your browser on your device only, and never sent to us. It stays until you clear your browser data.
Third party services
Some parts of the journey use other companies. Once you use them, their own privacy rules apply.
Our website shows our latest posts from Facebook as plain cards. Their pictures are copies kept on our own server, and no Facebook plugin, script or cookie is loaded when you visit. If you click the post, it opens in a new tab on Facebook, where Facebook's own privacy and cookie policies apply.
Google Maps
If you open our location or Google reviews from a link, Google Maps applies its own privacy policy once you leave our website.
OpenStreetMap
If you use the current location button on the Book a site visit form, OpenStreetMap's address lookup service receives your coordinates and applies its own privacy policy to that request.
If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp applies its own privacy policy to that conversation.
Odoo price journey
When you continue from a blind to Get my price, you move to our price page, which runs on Odoo. Your measurements and choices are saved with your request, as described under What we collect.
Changes
If we change what this website does with your data, we will update this page and the date below.
