Durable and eco-friendly
All woven bamboo blinds are now considered as eco – friendly which falls in line with the ‘Go Green’ International trends due to the fact that bamboo takes only 5 years to reach maturity compared to some hardwood trees which can take up to over 50 years, making it one of the best renewable resources in the world. Bamboo is naturally hard and can be worked on just like any other hardwood.
Operation
Bamboo blinds are manufactured with a pulley wheel and pulley cord lock system to operate the roll up function of the blind. The heavy-duty pulley cord lock ensures that large blinds are secured tightly when rolled up to the lock height position. All head rail components are of superior quality to ensure the smooth operation of the blind.
Colour co-ordination
All bamboo blind head rails, bottom rails, tape edges, cords and tassels are colour co-ordinated to the respective woven bamboo design to offer a more stylish and decorative effect.

All head and bottom rails are made of hardwood pine and wrapped with specialised wood grain foil.

Cleaning and care
Cleaning: Dust can easily be brushed off regularly using a feather duster or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment. To dust / vacuum, roll down the bamboo blind to its full drop.
Care: Woodoc 30 should always be applied in advance for areas with high humidity or dampness to prevent fungus / mildew from occurring. Please ensure that the bamboo blind is not exposed to any steam ( ie. bathrooms / showers / kitchens ), dampness or humidity, this can occur especially in closed holiday homes. Rooms and homes must have sufficient air circulation ( ie. preferably be air-conditioned ) and blinds must be rolled down and aired regularly. Blinds should not be exposed to rainy weather when windows are left open and should never be rolled up when damp or wet ( ie. they must be rolled down to dry and be aired).
